Douglas R. Crist & Son was founded in 1981, serving central New Jersey. Carpentry is the mainstay of the business. Doug has been in construction since 1969, when he built his first A frame in Pennsylvania at age 17.
His experience includes 15 years as a union mason, with responsibility for project management, layout, and supervision.
His son, Nielsen, has been a part of the business since shortly after his birth, in 1981
The Crist family has construction history in New Jersey dating back to the 1800s in residential and commercial design and construction, and even fine boatbuilding.
